Snoop Dogg Teases New Joint Album With Dr. Dre It's Happening

A new project from Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre is coming soon.

The fans are still waiting for “Detox” from Dr. Dre, and the legendary producer has been working tirelessly in the studio for the past couple of years. Just recently, we got to hear Dre produced “Use This Gospel” remix by Kanye West and Eminem on DJ Khaled’s “GOD DID” album. Now Snoop Dogg again teased that he’s working on new project with “Still Dre” star.

Snoop Dogg and Jamie Foxx are currently on the promo run for their new Netflix film “Day Shift” as they sat down with Rap Radar Podcast. “Snoop, you mentioned Dre, man. We’ve seen a lot of you guys in the studio. Do we have our fingers crossed that could maybe happen one day or…” says the host. “Uncross them,” responds Snoop. “Snoop and Dr. Dre?” asks host. “Yeah, but I can’t say much but yeah it’s happening,” says Snoop. “I got the whole record right here,” jokes Jamie Foxx.

“We’re cooking up a little something,” Snoop told ET Online. “I don’t wanna talk about it too much, but we’re back together again. It’s been 30 years since we worked on a record, and we’re doin’ something, we’re workin’ on something,”

In a previous interview, Dre revealed that he did around 247 songs in the pandemic. “I did 247 songs during the pandemic, then we paused, did a whole album with Marsha Ambrosius… that’s f**king nutso, that’s crazy,” he said. “Then we came back… what did we do after that? Oh, I did the Grand Theft Auto sh*t and then we working on my ni**a Snoop. We two days in right now, we got, what, six bangers done? So, I don’t know. I wanna finish this sh*t and then start Busta Rhymes.” Back in May, Snoop Dogg shared studio pictures with Dr. Dre, where he accidentally leaked possible “Detox” tracklist.

Snoop Dogg isn’t the only one Dre has been in the studio with, as Diddy and Conway the Machine also shared new pictures with the producer, featuring Kanye West. Diddy’s team told HipHopDx that they did new music for the upcoming Dre’s album with Snoop Dogg. “The two music moguls came together to collaborate for Dr. Dre’s highly anticipated upcoming album with Snoop Dogg, who was also in attendance. Producing with Dr. Dre has been a long-time dream for Mr. [Sean] Combs and the night was made even more special as he coached him through vocals.”

His close relationship with Kanye West led to Conway meeting Dr. Dre at his home studio. “His attention to detail [blew me away],” he recalled, as per HipHopDX. “He’s just real strategic. He know how he wanted the sound. He’s a good dude, man, showed a lot of love. I just appreciate that. He remembered me from 50 Cent’s Walk of Fame thing. I appreciated that, too. No doubt, for sure [that felt good].”
