Rick Ross Takes Shots At 50 Cent, Says Eminem & Dr. Dre Saved Him

Rick Ross Takes More Shots At 50 Cent During New Interview.

Rick Ross is once again speaking on his longtime feud with 50 Cent. During a recent interview with Patrick Bet-David, the Maybach Music Group boss opened up about his music career, business success, and industry relationships. However, one of the biggest moments from the conversation came when Ross started talking about 50 Cent.

Ross made it clear that the two rappers were never truly cool with each other. According to Ross, he believes 50 Cent depended heavily on industry support from Eminem and Dr. Dre early in his career.

“We’ve never been cool. You can’t even dress,” Ross said. “That’s all I used to tell him. You can’t dress. You’re not really getting no money. You don’t own your masters. Eminem saved you. Dr. Dre saved you. All the big names saved you. Rozay did it himself. I had to build this myself. And I’m not speaking down on him cause he lives in a two bedroom apartment.

Ross also questioned how much ownership 50 Cent actually has over some of his biggest entertainment projects. He specifically mentioned the hit TV series Power, claiming that 50 does not fully own the franchise despite being heavily connected to it publicly.

Ross also brought up 50 Cent’s involvement with a recent documentary connected to Diddy and suggested that companies use 50’s name for promotion without giving him full control or ownership. “They just used him for that Diddy documentary,” he said. “He just put this name on there, giving him $10k. And that’s it. He don’t own any of that. Google Power TV show, they spoke up against salaries. He does not own Power. He does not own none of that. He does not own that 10 million seller album. He does not own Get Rich Or Die Tryin‘. That’s why he does not promote it. He makes nothing off of it.”

The comments quickly spread across social media, where fans once again started debating the long-running feud between the two rap stars.

Rick and 50 have been taking shots at each other for more than a decade. Their issues originally started in the late 2000s and eventually turned into one of hip-hop’s most famous rap beefs. Over the years, both artists have traded diss tracks, interviews, social media insults, and business criticism. The interview is just the latest chapter in the never-ending tension between the two hip-hop veterans.
