Kanye West share details of a text he sent to Jay-Z, Drake, Kim K, Kid Cudi and more.
Kanye West has taken over social media with his latest interview on REVOLT’s “Drink Champs” with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN. The incredible two and half hour interview feature some controversial, as well as hilarious statements from Kanye West. Ye revealed that he had a group with Jay-Z, Pusha T, Drake, Kim Kardashian, Travis Scott and Kid Cudi, and he sent them a text saying he has more money than all of them combined.
“I’m talking to everybody that in this community, Kid Cudi, Pusha, Drake, JAY-Z, Kim, and Trav. One of the lines that I said that was legend… is I said, ‘I’m worth more than all of y’all on this text combined,'” reveals Kanye.
“You said. That was a what?” asks NORE “What did you say? I don’t know what you just said?”
“That was one of the elements of the text,” responds Ye. “This is an intense group chat,” says NORE.
“But everybody, as soon as I start dropping bars, ‘Oh my god, he’s in an episode… Oh my god, he needs to go to the hospital… Oh, oh my god…” says Kanye West.
The interview also featured Kanye West calling Just Blaze a “Copycat”, trashing Soulja Boy’s “DONDA” Verse, saying the worst thing he ever did was sign Big Sean and more.
Ye discusses “the originators,” or the folks who developed hip-hop from the ground up, around the 1:44 mark of Drink Champs. However, he accused Travis Scott of biting his style along the road. He remarked, “I don’t mind the copycats.” “But, by the way, sometimes you just have to tell it like it is. ‘You cloned me!’ I’d say if someone copied me. You imitated me, Trav, I tell you. I adore you, but I have to tell you the truth.”
Kanye has a history of going off in group text chats, so he’s not lying about this one. The multibillionaire enjoys reminding people of his wealth, so it’s understandable that he’d want to get under everyone’s skin by informing them he’s the wealthiest among their friends.
