Kanye West Says Signing Big Sean Was The Worst Thing He's Ever Done

Kanye West regrets signing Big Sean.

Following an announcement earlier today, N.O.R.E and DJ EFN have released the episode of “Drink Champs” which is a 2-hour long interview with Kanye West. Among other things, the “DONDA” rapper was asked about who would he pick between Big Sean and Pusha T.

“Oh. I love this. Let me tell you,” says Ye before bringing out a cardboard tombstone with RIP written over it. “I already decided that when I die, on my tombstone it’s gonna say, ‘I deserve to be here I signed Big Sean.'”

N.O.R.E. was still unclear about the answer, and asked him again, “So, I’m not quite sure of your pick, Big Sean over Pusha T?”

“No, I’m saying the worst thing I’ve ever did was sign Big Sean,” responds Ye. “Nah, man. Look… I know this man’s momma, bro. I changed this man’s family. And both John Legend and Big Sean, when I ran for office, got used quick by the Democrats to come at they boy that actually changed they life. And that’s some sellout shit. And I don’t rock with neither of them and I need my apology. I ain’t saying they ain’t gon’ change, but ni**as is scared.”

John Legend was signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music label earlier in his career, and Sean Don recently announced his departure from the label after 14 years. Big Sean linked up with Hit-Boy to drop an independent project “What You Expect“.

Big Sean was almost immediately on Twitter, questioning where this enthusiasm had gone the last time they hung out, noting that the photographs he provided were shot after the Drink Champs interview.

After the Kanye’s interview aired earlier tonight, Big Sean reacted to it with some laughing emoji on his Twitter. “Was just wit this man, he ain’t say none of that!!! And this was after the interview! I’m dying laughing at you @kanyewest,” he wrote. Before the interview, Sean already assumed there was something crazy Kanye said, which he revealed in a tweet. “I just got asked to be on the next Drink Champs so I’m assuming Ye talkin crazy [Laughing Emoji],” he said.

Big Sean declared last month that he is no longer affiliated to G.O.O.D. Music. What You Expect was his debut project published under his newly founded indie label, FF to Def Entertainment.
