Birdman & NBA Youngboy Drops Music Video For 100 Rounds

Birdman & NBA Youngboy shares “100 Rounds” video.

Birdman and NBA Youngboy teamed up for a new joint project called “From The Bayou“. The mixtape is packed with 13 tracks and no guest features. Today, the duo decided to unleash the music video for the first song on the tracklist “100 Rounds”. Both the artists shot their part from different locations, as Youngboy is on a house arrest in Utah.

“My momma put it in my head, I can’t get stalked / My ni**a drill it in my head, I can’t die broke / I stood outside the door / Right there when Terrell stuck up the store,” raps Youngboy.

YoungBoy and Birdman originally teased From the Bayou in March 2018, when YoungBoy’s career was exploding thanks to mixtapes and popularity. From an artistic standpoint, the cooperation made little sense. Birdman only has one mode, whereas YoungBoy is a restless shapeshifter. However, YoungBoy was on a roll at the time, and both singers were connected to Antoine “Fee” Banks, who manages YoungBoy and had worked with Young Money.

The official video for “100 Rounds,” courtesy of FlyGuyNick, shows Birdman and YoungBoy performing their lines from two distinct locales – none of which is surprising considering the latter’s present legal woes. Throughout the video, Birdman can be seen driving through a metropolis in iced-outs as a similarly decked-out YoungBoy delivers his bars from his home.

In 2022, the rapper released several new projects and this year he has already dropped two new efforts “I Rest My Case“ and the 33-track album “Don’t Try This At Home” with assistance from Post Malone, Nicki Minaj, Mariah The Scientist and more.

Youngboy also made chart history as the rapper now becomes the youngest artist with 100 hits on Billboard Hot 100. The Top rapper’s latest song to chart is “Big Truck” which debuts at #100 on the US Hot 100. The rapper achieved the milestone at 23 years, six months and two weeks old.

This follows up on NBA Youngboy’s previous visual “Black Ball“. Watch the new video below.
