Russ visits Power 106 for LA Leakers freestyle.
Russ has just dropped his brand new star-studded album “Chomp 2“, which features guest appearances from Jadakiss, Westside Gun, Conway The Machine, Ghostface Killah, Big Sean, Wale, Joey Badass, Snoop Dogg, Styles P, Big KRIT, The Game, Papoose and many more top lyricists of the industry. The production comes from Mr. Porter, Jake One, 9th Wonder, DJ Premier, Hit-Boy, The Alchemist, Statik Selektah, Harry Fraud, Boi-1da and more.
For the promo run, the Atlanta rapper decided to make a debut visit to Power 106 for a LA Leakers freestyle session for the 125th instalment of the Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk series. On the show, Russ spits crazy bars over OutKast’s “Aquemini”.
“Pretty women love Russ, gon’ and read about it / Speakin’ of readin’, wrote a book and sold two hundred thousand / Haven’t met a mountain I can’t climb yet, that’s the mindset / How the f**k am I not top 5 yet? Y’all a mess,” he raps.
Russ stated to Apple Music’s Ebro Darden that he tried failed to acquire a feature from the notoriously reclusive Electronica on the first Chomp mixtape, but succeeded on the second.
