Lupe Fiasco releases new freestyle “Diet Soda Poetry.”
Lupe Fiasco is back with dropping new freebies as he releases a new freestyle over Drake’s “Champagne Poetry”. He titled his own version “Diet Soda Poetry.” It is the intro track off Drake’s latest “Certified Lover Boy” album. When Drizzy dropped the album last week, Fiasco mentioned that it is his #1 track at the moment, and asked everyone the name of the beat.

This follows up Lupe Fiasco’s previous offering “Forest Fires,” a freestyle over Kendrick Lamar’s “Sing About Me, I’m Dying of Thirst.”
The Chicago MC credits Drake for pushing him to up his game in the studio on his new freestyle “Diet Soda Poetry,” a flip of Drake’s Certified Lover Boy opener “Champagne Poetry.”
“Just left album mode with me and my ni**a Trakk/And Drake dropped this sh*t, got me thinking about going back,” Lupe raps over the soulful second half of the “Champagne Poetry” beat.
