Lupe Fiasco Drops Freestyle Over Kendrick Lamar's Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst

Lupe Fiasco releases new freestyle “Forest Fires” over Kendrick Lamar’s “Sing About Me, I’m Dying of Thirst.”

Lupe Fiasco continues dropping new freestyles as he drops one over Kendrick Lamar’s song called “Sing About Me, I’m Dying of Thirst“. The track appeared on Kendrick’s classic 2012 album “Good Kid, m.A.A.d City”. The new version from Lupe Fiasco is titled “Forest Fires“. This follows up Fiasco’s previous freebie, “Teach A Man To Fish“, which was over Dipset’s “I Really Mean It“.

Lupe Fiasco has been giving us new freestyle on a consistent basis, ever since he dropped the Royce Da 5’9” diss track “Steve Jobs“.

Lifestyle in an urban slum is portrayed in Kendrick Lamar’s two-part song “Sing About Me, I’m Dying of Thirst.” Lamar discusses both the spiritual rebirth that gave him a route out of the streets as well as the stories that drove him away from gang culture from beginning to conclusion.

In the first section, Kendrick initially raps from his personal perspective to talk about the struggles he has had before switching to the perspectives of two other persons. The second segment takes up where the “Swimming Pool” outro sketch left off: Dave is slain, and his brother is looking for revenge.

Listen to the short freestyle below.
