Travis Scott Utopia Album Release Date Out Soon As New Billboards Appear

Travis Scott “Utopia” to possibly be released in June.

The new billboard appearing with the message “Looking for Utopia” has sparked a debate around Travis Scott Utopia album release date.

Travis Scott’s “Utopia” has been teased many times over the past year but still, people aren’t getting the new album’s release date.

Travis Scott’s fourth studio album, Utopia, is set to be released later this year. Cactus Jack Records and Epic Records are set to release the album. Following his third studio album Astroworld (2018) and his compilation project JackBoys (2019), the next album will be released this year.

Before Utopia’s release date, Travis Scott dropped two songs, “Mafia” and “Escape Plan,” the day before the horrific Astroworld events on Nov. 4, but it’s uncertain if they’ll appear on Utopia.

Scott withdrew the album title from his bio following the November events at the Astroworld Festival, which resulted in the deaths of ten audience members.

Travis Scott has again triggered the buzz around Utopia with his cryptic message telling the fans that he is focused and working around the album. He told the fans that the album is driving him forward and keeps him going.

Scott premiered an unheard new song named “Escape Plan” at Rolling Loud Miami on July 24, 2021. The song was thought to be another tune from Utopia. The song was finally released as a single on November 5, 2021, with “Mafia,” which includes J. Cole on guest vocals. The two songs are expected to be on Scott’s impending third solo mixtape, Dystopia, which will be published prior to Utopia. The Dystopia performance concluded in the infamous Astroworld Festival crowd crush, which resulted in more than ten deaths and hundreds of injuries, triggering international outrage focused against Scott.

According to Travis, he’ll be introducing a brand-new sound to his audience. He defined the new sound to WWD as “psychedelic rock,” adding that it may “Even just like the field of cactuses and mushrooms, you might get tripped out.” . He went into further detail about the sound he wants to produce for the album in a February 2021 interview with i-D. “That’s been one of the most fun things about working on this album. I’m evolving, collaborating with new people, delivering a whole new sound, a whole new range,” ” he said.“I want to make a f**king new sound. I might spend days banging my head against a wall trying to figure it out, but once I do it, it’s like ultimate ecstasy.”

However, on December 20, 2021, UTOPIA reappeared on his Instagram profile.

However, in a series of Instagram Stories pictures on January 14, Scott was observed in an unidentified location enjoying the sun before unveiling a pair of bespoke Apple AirPods Max headphones with the word UTOPIA emblazoned on the side.

Scott was apparently in Mexico making his fourth album, and producer Wheezy confirmed his involvement. “Yeah, still working on it and putting the finishing touches on that,” the producer told Billboard. “He’s back in Cabo working on it and I’m going out there soon. I’m going out there probably in the next two or three weeks to link up with him.”

Recently, Travis Scott’s Space Village, which is located in Houston, Texas, is a boutique popup that initially appeared in February of 2020. Fans are now alleging that they are being handed cards advertising Scott’s new album Utopia while shopping at his store.

Scott’s business mostly offers clothing—sweatshirts, beanies, and t-shirts—but it appears to be branching out into the music industry to promote the Houston rapper’s songs.

The card reads, “WELCOME TO UTOPIA. WE CREATE A NEW WORLD WHERE EVERYTHING IS FOR EVERYONE. UTOPIA IS EVERYWHERE & ALL-TIME. UTOPIA IS IN YOUR MIND. THE FLOWERS WILL SET YOU FREE. ASTROWORLD IS NOT A WORLD, IT’S A FEELING. THE ESSENCE OF UTOPIA IS GROWTH. PLANT THIS CARD IN SOIL.”

Following the Astroworld catastrophe, in which ten people died due to unsafe crowd circumstances, the promotion of a “New world where everything is for everyone” began. Look here for a complete chronology of the event.

All said & done Travis Scott’s Utopia release date is around the corner & as sources tell Travis Scott Utopia will be out probably in June this year but now Travis Scott is making the fans wait and just teasing with the update.

Travis talked about the purpose behind his ‘Utopia’ LP in an interview with CR Men. “Medicine, nursing, being a better person, talking, language, communication—you know, a utopian state. That’s what my album is about”.
Travis continued: “You think utopia is a society where everything is good: health, buildings, architecture—nah. It’s just about proper lines of communication,” he said.

“Because that’s the dystopian sh*t we’re in right now. It’s all hate, hate, hate, and all of that is drawn from what? Miscommunication, non-communication, non-understandable communication, ignorance of communication. ‘I don’t like this person.’ Why? Because somebody told me something to not like this person? Because in history I read to not like this person? Why?”

It is intriguing to discuss UTOPIA because, although there has not been any official confirmation about the tracklist, some leaked tracks like “LOST FOREVER” featuring Westside Gunn and James Blake, “NIAGARA FALLS” with 21 Savage and “BLUNT TALK” with Bryson Tiller, have given fans an idea of what to expect from the album. However, there is at least one official single that is likely to be included in the album, which is “FRANCHISE” a collaboration with Young Thug and M.I.A. Additionally, it is worth mentioning “HIGHEST IN THE ROOM,” a hit single that was released in 2019 that may have been used to promote UTOPIA, despite it being three years old by now.
