Travis Scott’s UTOPIA album charts at #1 for the fourth straight week.

Travis Scott continues Billboard 200 domination with his latest album UTOPIA, as he earns another #1 on the charts. This is the fourth straight week at #1 on the charts, as it moved 161,000 equivalent units this week. The album has already earned the RIAA platinum status after selling over 1 million units in the US. Utopia also earned over a billion streams on Spotify.

The latest hip-hop album, Utopia, has achieved a significant milestone by spending the most weeks at Number 1 since Drake’s Certified Lover Boy in 2021. In fact, it is the first album in five years to maintain its position at #1 on the Billboard 200 for its first four weeks of release, just like Drake’s “Scorpion”.

Upon its debut, Utopia claimed the top spot on the Billboard 200, moving over 496,000 equivalent units in its first week. Additionally, it garnered an astonishing 330.68 million on-demand streams and recorded impressive pure sales of 252,000 units. This makes it the hip-hop album with the highest first-week numbers in 2023.

The album also broke records on Spotify, earning the highest number of opening-day streams among hip-hop albums this year. It amassed an incredible 128.5 million streams on its first day alone. The second spot on this list goes to Lil Uzi Vert’s Pink Tape with 53.4 million opening-day streams. Furthermore, Utopia secured third place for the overall biggest-ever opening day stream for a rap album on Spotify; a feat that was previously dominated by none other than Drake with his albums “Certified Lover Boy” and “Scorpion”.

Utopia showcases an exceptional lineup of guest appearances from some of music’s biggest stars including Drake himself, Future, Playboi Carti, Young Thug, Swae Lee, SZA, Beyonce, Kid Cudi, The Weeknd, 21 Savage and more. With a total of 19 tracks that are sure to captivate listeners across genres.

In conclusion, Utopia has triumphed both commercially and critically as it continues to dominate charts and redefine success in the world of hip-hop music.

Travis Scott has now also announced the 28-date North American “Circus Maximus” tour. The trek will kick off in Charlotte on October 11th and will go through major markets like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver, Atlanta, Miami, Detroit, Chicago, New York City and more before concluding things on December 29 in Toronto.
