Travis Scott teases “Utopia” 2023 release with a tour.
Travis Scott has been teasing his next studio album “Utopia” for a couple of years, and it looks like we finally have a confirmed time for the project release. According to a post liked by La Flame himself, he will drop the long-awaited new project in early 2023 along with a tour in support of the album.

The title for the album was first in early 2020, and it will be his fourth studio album through Cactus Jack Records and Epic Records. This will be his first project since 2018’s “Astroworld“.
Scott’s London performance, which came after his UTOPIA billboard ploy at Coachella in April, is only the beginning of his homecoming tour. The Houston rapper’s much-anticipated album appears to be imminent since he is scheduled to perform at several festivals in South America this fall.

Earlier this year, a few Billboard’s appeared in California with the message “Looking for Utopia”, which sparked release date rumours.

In a new photoshoot interview with Pun-Up Magazine, the rapper explained the meaning behind UTOPIA. “Utopia is something that people feel is so far-fetched and out of reach, some perfect state of mind,” Travis Scott explained. “But you create it yourself. There are people who achieve utopia every day. They may not be the richest people with the dopest cribs, but it’s a utopia wherever they are, and that’s the most you can have.”
Travis Scott kicked off the album campaign with the release of his single “K-POP“, which featured two of the biggest artists in the world, Bad Bunny and The Weeknd. The track is produced by Boi-1da and MIKE DEAN and it is the lead single off the upcoming UTOPIA album.
Utopia officially released in July 2023, with star-studded guest appearances from Drake, Future, Playboi Carti, Young Thug, Swae Lee, SZA, Beyonce, Kid Cudi, The Weeknd, 21 Savage and more. The album debuted at #1 on Billboard 200 with the biggest first-week sales for a rap album in 2023. It moved 496,000 equivalent units in the first week, with 330.68 million on-demand streams and 252,000 pure sales. It marked his third consecutive #1 album on the US Billboard 200. The project sold over 1 million units in just a month to earn RIAA Platinum status in the US. UTOPIA stayed at the top of the US Billboard 200 chart for straight four weeks.
