Swedish House Mafia & The Weeknd Replaces Kanye West To Headline Coachella 2022

Swedish House Mafia & The Weeknd to headline Coachella 2022.

Earlier this week, Kanye West reportedly pulled out of this year’s Coachella Festival which is taking place later this month. The reason for taking out his name was not revealed, and it also meant that Travis Scott will also not make an appearance.

There were speculations that The Weeknd is one of the names that is being considered for the replacement of the Donda rapper, and it turned out to be true. The Weeknd has been announced as one of the new headliners for Coachella 2022, along with the Swedish House Mafia. They will be performing at Indio California on April 17th and 24th.

The other two headliners for the festival are Harry Styles and Billie Eilish. The event will also feature performances from Lil Baby, Phoebe Bridgers, Big Sean, City Girls, Baby Keem, Megan Thee Stallion, 21 Savage, Doja Cat, Run the Jewels, JID and more.

Coachella was The Weeknd’s debut performance in 2012, and he headlined the event in 2018. Swedish House Mafia was previously set to perform at this year’s festival, but not as the main attraction. The name of the organisation had previously been written in a smaller type near the bottom of the poster.

“Moth To A Flame,” a collaboration between the two artists, is their single. The Swedish House Mafia also contributed to The Weeknd’s latest album, Dawn FM, by producing a couple of tracks.
