Kanye West Has Reportedly Pulled Out Of Coachella 2022 Festival

Kanye West will no longer perform at Coachella 2022.

Kanye West was supposed to headline this year’s Coachella festival which is taking place on April 15-17 and April 22-24, but now the rapper has backed out. The Donda rapper was named as a headliner earlier this year after the removal of Travis Scott, and Billie Eilish and Harry Styles are the other two main performers at the event.

According to TMZ, Sources close to the GOOD Music boss states that he will no longer perform at the festival in Indio, CA, which kicks off next weekend. It was previously reported that Kanye West will also bring out Travis Scott, and now no chance of it as well.

Ye previously went at Billie Eilish after she seemingly took shots at Travis Scott during a concert in Atlanta. “Come on billie we love you please apologize to trav and to the families of the people who lost their lives no one intended this to happen trav didn’t have any idea of what was happening when he was on stage and was very hurt by what happened and yes trav will be with me at coachella but now I need billie to apologize before I perform,” he wrote.

Billie Eilish also responded to Ye in the comment section of his post and clarified that she did not diss the Houston rapper. “literally never said a thing about travis. was just helping a fan,” she wrote.

Just the other night, the rapper was also supposed to perform at the 64th annual grammy awards, but he was removed for his disturbing online behaviour and dissing the host Trevor Noah.

On Change.org, thousands of individuals signed a petition asking for Ye to be removed from the Coachella schedule. It received 20,000 signatures three days after it was uploaded. It had over 50,000 signatures when Ye dropped out of Coachella.

Swedish House Mafia, who are now on the verge of a return, are hovering on the Coachella roster banner, making them the logical candidate to fill Ye’s headline slot, according to Variety. Coachella was the rapper’s last performance in 2011.
