Royce Da 5'9 Calls J. Cole Better Than Kendrick Lamar & Drake

Royce da 5’9 praises Dreamville and J. Cole.

Dreamville will be taking over Dorothea Dix Park for a star-studded festival this weekend, and before that, the J. Cole led label decided to put out a new compilation project last night. Dreamville linked up with DJ Drama for a brand new “D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape“, which features music from the entire label, as well as guest appearances from ASAP Ferg, 2 Chainz, Reason, Young Nudy, Sheck Wes and more.

The whole squad is getting praise on social media, and the label is being called the best out there right now in terms of management and the artists. Royce da 5’9, who previously collaborated with J. Cole on the “Boblo Boat“, praises the rapper and called him better than the other two MCs Kendrick Lamar and Drake of the “3 headed monster” term, as a label executive.

“Ready to talk about EarthGang now?” he wrote. “Matter of fact the WHOLE Dreamville. They ready for the apocalypse out this bi**h. Cole as an executive separates him from that 3 headed monster convo y’all been having for the last 10 yrs… Put some respek on my brother’s name.”

Revengers Of The Dreamers III is Dreamville’s most recent project, and it acts as their official follow-up. Kenny Mason, 2 Chainz, A$AP Ferg, Reason, G Perico, Young Nudy, and others, as well as the whole Dreamville group, appear on D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape.

The mixtape was released just in time for Dreamville Festival, where DJ Drama will host the first-ever Gangsta Grillz live performance, which will include T.I., Lil Wayne, and Jeezy. It appears that members of the Dreamville camp will also be joining them.
