Nicki Minaj Reveals Lil Baby Outrapped Her On New Collaboration He Might Have Got Me

Nicki Minaj admits that Lil Baby “bodied” her on the new collab.

This Friday, Nicki Minaj is making her return to the music scene as she will link up with hitmaker Lil Baby for a new collaboration “Do We Have A Problem”. She recently went live on her IG to talk about the collab, and to release the official trailer. Speaking to the fans, the “Pink Friday” revealed that Lil Baby went super hard on the joint, and outrapped her.

“First of all, I want to just say shout out to Lil Baby,” she said. “You know what? listen… Y’all know I always keep it real about verses and all of that. Lil Baby, he might have got me.”

She continues, “But listen, the point is that Lil Baby went super duper hard for us and it’s so refreshing to see people still care about, you know, that type of stuff. I still care about it. And I didn’t realize that… I don’t think people didn’t know Lil Baby was nice, but I will say that he pleasantly surprises me all the time. And this particular record was just another moment when you could just tell the difference when somebody knows they’re here for a long time. The way he pushed himself, pushed his pen, I loved it. He bodied, bodied, bodied. So, Shout out to him for just being dope and down-to-earth and sweet. All of that. Helpful everything.”

On Monday, Nicki Minaj shared a teaser trailer for Benny Boom’s “Do We Have a Problem?” music video on Instagram (January 31). In the 34-second film, Nicki plays an agent who is sent to a task by actors Corey Hardrict and Joseph Sikora.

Nicki Minaj Responds To Potential Verzuz Battle Against Drake or Lil Wayne

Nicki’s involvement in Verzuz is uncertain, but the Pink Friday rapper already has an opinion on the atmosphere of the potential gathering. “It should feel like a celebration, that’s exactly what I would like it to feel like,” she explained. “Fun, happiness. Because a lot of times with my career, stuff would feel like work. And now I’m just like, ‘No. Everything needs to feel good. That’s it.’”
