Kanye West Is Planning To Hire Homeless People As Models For New Yeezy Collab Fashion Show

Kanye West wants to help homeless people through the new Yeezy collab.

Kanye West, who now goes by the name Ye, always comes up with creative ideas, in his music as well as fashion. Now the DONDA rapper is planning to model homeless people for his billion-dollar brand Yeezy’s new collab with LA Based clothing brand Ski Row Fashion Week.

David Sabastian, the founder of Skid Row Fashion Week connected with TMZ to share details of his recent meeting with the GOOD Music boss. Sabastian revealed that he met Ye earlier this month when the rapper was working on “Donda 2” at his studio in LA Arts District, and they decided to do a Yeezy x Skid Row Fashion Week clothing collab.

David revealed that his company will donate a portion from the sales of their new collab to help homeless people on Skid Row. The clothes of their collab are scheduled to drop next month on February 22, and the proceeds will help hire more people struggling with homelessness to work at the Ski Row Fashion Week Factory in Los Angeles. It is also revealed that they are planning a fashion show and looking to hire people from the SRFW factory to also model the clothes on the ramp.

“There are 60,000 people currently living on Skid Row,” the fashion house states in a video promo for the forthcoming range. “Thousands of men, women and children are living in tents because our government refuses to spend the $3 billion they have in the reserve to eradicate this cancer we call homelessness. “A purchase from Skid Row Fashion Week will help us employ, house, feed and start the process of rehabilitation with our programs and services. Buy Skid Row Fashion Week and save a life.”

David Sabastian teased the Yeezy x Skid Row collab through his social media earlier this week.
