Drake Breaks Multiple Spotify & Apple Music 2026 Records With ICEMAN

Drake Breaks Spotify & Apple Music Records With ICEMAN.

Drake is once again dominating the music world after breaking multiple streaming records with his new album, ICEMAN.

On Friday, May 15, Spotify officially announced that Drake became the most-streamed artist in a single day in 2026. At the same time, ICEMAN became the most-streamed album in a single day this year, while the song “Make Them Cry” became the most-streamed song in a single day in 2026 so far.

Spotify shared the huge achievement on social media, writing: “On May 15th, Drake became Spotify’s most-streamed artist of 2026 in a single day, ICEMAN became the most-streamed album of 2026 in a single day, and ‘Make Them Cry’ became the most-streamed song in a single day in 2026 so far.

The records come after Drake shocked fans by releasing not one, but three albums at the same time… ICEMAN, Habibti, and Maid Of Honour.

The projects marked Drake’s first solo album releases since For All The Dogs in 2023. Last year, he teamed up with PartyNextDoor for their collaborative album Some Sexy Songs 4 U.

Drake also made history on Apple Music. Following the release of ICEMAN, Drake became the first artist ever to hold all top 30 spots on the US Apple Music chart at the same time.

Reports also claim Drake currently holds 43 out of the top 50 songs on the chart, showing just how massive the album release has become online.

Meanwhile, ICEMAN reportedly reached No. 1 on Apple Music in 129 countries shortly after release. The album has already surpassed the previous Apple Music peaks of projects like UTOPIA, GNX, MUSIC, and even Drake’s own For All The Dogs.

Fans online have been calling the release one of the biggest album rollouts in recent hip-hop history. Since the albums dropped, Drake has also been releasing multiple music videos back-to-back, as he dropped over 12 videos, including visuals for songs like “Plot Twist,” “National Treasures,” “Little Birdie,” “Janice STFU,” and “Burning Bridges.”

The success of ICEMAN is especially important because it marks Drake’s first major solo release since his huge 2024 rap battle with Kendrick Lamar.

After facing heavy criticism and nonstop online debate during the feud, many fans were curious to see how Drake would respond musically. Now, with record-breaking streaming numbers and global chart domination, it’s clear the rapper still has massive support around the world.
