Eminem To Feature On LL Cool J's New Album This Year

LL Cool J’s next album to feature Rick Ross, Nas, Fat Joe, Saweetie and Eminem.

LL Cool J had been teasing a new studio album for some time now, and the legendary rapper finally unveil some details regarding the project. The “Mama Said Knock You Out” rapper’s next album is reportedly dropping this year, and it will be the fourteenth and first in 10 years, following up on 2013’s “Authentic”. “I’m competing with myself on this new album. Wait til you hear this MF. [musical notes emoji],” LL tweeted previously. “This year B. It’s coming.”

LL made an appearance on 93.5 KDay radio for a new interview, where he revealed the guest appearances on the upcoming album. LL revealed that the project will be having features from Rick Ross, Nas, Fat Joe, Saweetie and Eminem.

LL Cool J and Eminem had been giving flowers to each other over the years, and Eminem also made an appearance for a surprise performance when LL was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2021.

“I think LL Cool J has been so vital to broadening the horizons of hip-hop,” said Em previously about LL’s influence on him. “For my eleventh birthday. I got the radio tape. And in that moment, everything LL, I was into it. And I just think about having his posters everywhere. I would say he had a big impact on me early on. He gave me more confidence. Little more self-belief. The swagger that he had, If I can portray that swagger, I can go to school and kids might think I’m cool.”

Eminem also showed love for LL as he congratulated him for Rock Hall induction. “It was such an honor, & 16 y.o. Marshall is so proud- congrats L,” he wrote.
