Drake is still the rapper with most Spotify monthly listeners.
Drake continues to dominate the music streaming platform Spotify as he’s still in the lead of most monthly listeners on the site. At the end of June, the Toronto rap star has 65.1 monthly listeners on Spotify. Drizzy’s new project “Honestly, Nevermind” helped him maintain the lead, and broke several records in the past month.
The album which debuted at #1 on Billboard 200, had the biggest opening day streams for a dance project on Spotify and it was streamed 213.9m times in its opening week on the platform. It was his 4th biggest opening week and the 31st biggest opening ever. It surpassed numerous streaming records for a dance album and earned Drake’s eleventh US number-one album. The album’s two lead singles, “Sticky” and “Massive,” debuted in the top 20 of the US Billboard Hot 100, while Drake’s “Jimmy Cooks” hit the top spot there for the eleventh time.

Meanwhile, Doja Cat is on number 2 most Spotify monthly listeners, thanks to her last year’s record-breaking album “Planet Her”. She was the third most-streamed female artist on the site with 509 million number in June.
The third on the list is the legendary Eminem, who’s in the top 3. The Detroit rapper is showing his longevity after being in the game for over 25 years. In June, Eminem linked up with Snoop Dogg for a new collaboration “From The D 2 The LBC”. He also earned his fourth 1 Billion track on Spotify with the 2000’s single “The Real Slim Shady“.

Drake continued to be the rapper with the most monthly listeners on Spotify, but Eminem surpassed him for a day on the platform. In March 2023, Detroit Rapper surpassed Drake to reach this milestone for the first time in his career. At the time, Both rappers had over 68.5 million monthly listeners, with Eminem a few thousand more than the Toronto rap star.
Drizzy was also the most streamed rapper on Spotify in 2022, as the Toronto rap star was streamed 13.8 million times in the whole year.
