Eminem's The Real Slim Shady Has Surpassed 1 Billion Spotify Streams

Eminem achieves another milestone on Spotify.

Eminem continues his domination on streaming platforms as he now earns another billion mark on Spotify. Eminem’s single “The Real Slim Shady”, which was released in 2000, has now surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify. It was the lead single off his third studio album “The Marshall Mathers LP”. The song peaked at #4 on Billboard Hot 100 and won multiple awards including a Grammy for Best Rap Solo Performance.

Eminem’s biggest hit up to that moment was “The Real Slim Shady,” which was also his first single to top the UK charts and peak at number four on the Billboard Hot 100. In the UK, the song ranked as the 14th greatest seller of 2000. It received several awards, including MTV Video Music Awards for Best Video and Best Male Video.

It is now become Detroit Rapper’s fourth track to reach this milestone on Spotify. Eminem’s previous songs with over 1 Billion streams include “Without Me”, “Lose Yourself” and “Till I Collapse”.
