DJ Drama Drops Will Smith-Chris Rock Bars On New Dreamville Mixtape

Will Smith and Chris Rock are already a part of new raps.

Will Smith and Chris Rock recently broke the internet after an incident that took place at this year’s Academy Awards. During the Oscars 2022 show last weekend, the “King Richard” actor slapped the comedian for joking about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith. The fans started making assumptions that the rappers are already writing raps around the controversy. And now, the Smith-Rock incident is already a part of a new rap project.

DJ Drama linked up with the whole Dreamville roster for a new compilation project “D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape“, where the Philadelphia born DJ references the Oscars incident on the song called “Starting 5″, which features Lute, Cozz and Omen.

“Keep playing with Dreamville’s name,” says Drama. “Don’t get Chris Rock’d out your socks. Anything can and will happen. Then watch me walk back to my seat. Keep my name out your f**king mouth.”

Will, who was allowed to remain at the ceremony after assaulting Rock onstage, went on to win the Oscar award for Best Actor for his role in King Richard, the story of Richard Williams and his pro-tennis star daughters Venus and Serena. Will has since apologized for his behavior via a statement released on social media. “Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive,” Will said of the slap. “My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.”
