The star-studded sixth studio album has 21 tracks with guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Future, Lil Baby, Jay-Z, Travis Scott, Rick Ross, and more. The album was trending throughout the day, after reactions coming from fans all over social media. But the one reaction which has everyone talking is from DJ Akademiks, who fell asleep while listening to the project.

As music enthusiasts listened closely to CLB and shared their thoughts on the album, DJ Akademiks, a media figure, started his stream and listened to the project with his followers. Ak was as amped up as he usually is at times, citing Kendrick Lamar’s recent “smokin’ on your top 5” lyrics and anointing Drizzy Drake as the greatest of all time, ranking him from No. 1 to No. 5. He was absolutely zonked out at other times as if getting some zzz’s in the middle of the stream.

Akademiks is one of the biggest supporters of the Toronto rapper, and he was hyping the project for the past few days. When the album was released, Akademiks took to his Twitch channel for a live listening session. Akademiks later took to his Twitter to label Drake’s new album a classic, but his followers reminded him of him falling asleep to the album. The new Drake album is receiving mixed reactions from fans and critics.

Drake’s ninth straight number one album on the Billboard 200 list, Certified Lover Boy, debuted at number one. It debuted with 613,000 album-equivalent units, made up of 46,000 album sales and 562,000 streaming units based on the album’s 743.7 million on-demand streams. The 613,000 units sold in the first week set a new record for 2021, beating Kanye West’s Donda (309,000).
