Ab-Soul shares the tracklist for the “HERBERT” album.
Ab-Soul is prepping the release of his comeback album “HERBERT” which is due to release next week. Today, the LA rapper decided to unveil the official artwork and tracklist for the project.
The album will have 18 tracks, including the previously released songs “Hollandaise“, “Moonshooter” and “Do Better” with Zacari. The additional guest appearances come from Joey Badass, Jhene Aiko, Punch, Russ, Big Sean, SiR and more.

This will be his first album in 6 years, following up 2016’s “Do What Thou Wilt.” Soul’s previous efforts featured the likes of Mac Miller, Rapsody, Bas, Schoolboy Q, SZA and more. The album charted at #34 on US Billboard 200 and the number 9 spot on US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
Since then, Ab-Soul has contributed to other solos and collaborations, including Jhene Aiko’s Chilombo, the Black Panther The Album (Music From and Inspired By) collection, and “Back At It” with Kembe X. A select group of renowned producers, including DJ Premier, Sounwave, Hit-Boy, James Blake, DJ Dahi, Boi-1da, and others, have collaborated with Ab-Soul. JAY-inclusion Z’s on the tracklist was another expectation among fans. The 35-year-old uploaded a picture of herself and Hov last week along with the phrase “SOUL DID.” The image instantly started discussions between them both about working together. While Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, the label’s founder, hinted that Jay would appear on the album, he clarified that he only connected them.
