The Detroit Rapper made the cameo on the 7th episode which only lasted a few seconds, where he portrayed Rick Wershe Jr. aka White Boy Rick. 50 Cent, who previously acknowledged his good friend for the role, once again shows love to him during an interview with Express UK.

“It was great,” 50 Cent said about working with Eminem in the episode that he directed. “I think it was the comfortability of me directing that even allowed him to say yes to that.” 50 Cent revealed that the “Lose Yourself” rapper is happy to work on the TV series, as long as he’s involved. “Then it’s like ‘well, what’re we doing? ‘Cause we’re doing it.’ It’s not like someone else is telling me what to do, and I’m uncomfortable.”

“It’s always easy for me to work with Em. I love Em to death, ‘cause that’s my guy.” 50 Cent while showing gratitude to Eminem for launching his career. “At the point that he’s saying ‘yo, 50’s gonna be the next biggest thing’,” he said. “He’s at 23 million copies sold on the Marshall Mathers LP. That was all he had to do for me music-wise, I took off. I was ready to go.”

“I remember that, but some people forget. They look at it and say ‘I made you a lot of money.’ And I don’t look at it like that. I look at it like, ‘I’m so grateful for what you did.’”

Richard Wershe Jr., the real-life White Boy Rick, has apparently heard about the casting decision and is overjoyed. “It’s Eminem, so that’s an honour to have him portray me in a series,” Wershe Jr. told TMZ in a video statement. “He was actually one of the first people that was looking at doing a movie about me. It’s pretty cool that later down the line he gets to take on this role. I don’t think I have to tell him anything at all; he’s a professional… His music speaks for itself. He’s an icon, he’s a legend, and this, for him, will be a small thing… From one Detroiter to another, just kill it.”

Recently, Eminem’s Bad Meets Evil partner Royce Da 5’9″ also reacted to the Shady featured episode. “That Em episode. That’s funny. Man, that s**t went by so fast. I wonder why he didn’t play a bigger part. They could have figured out a way to work with White Boy Rick into there. I didn’t know Eminem is going to be in that one. Maybe Meech and White Boy Rick encounter was just brief. I don’t know. Maybe he didn’t have a big part… I thought he was gonna bump him into prison or some s**t but it’s dope though.”
