50 Cent Reveals How He Made Eminem Young For BMF Cameo As White Boy Rick

50 Cent details making Eminem young for his “BMF” show.

The 7th episode of 50 Cent’s “Black Mafia Family” show will finally be available to watch tonight on STARZ after it was taken down last week. 50 Cent slammed the Starz Network, as the episode is directed by him and it also starred his good friend Eminem for a short cameo. However, the short cameo from Eminem portraying White Boy Rick already surfaced online, which showed the younger version of the rapper, and without his current facial beard.

The Detroit rapper is shown in character being greeted by Demetrius “Meech” Flenory’s character, portrayed by Demetrius Flenory Jr., in a brief film that leaked online on Sunday (Nov. 7). Eminem, who is dressed in a fur coat and a brunette wig to give him longer hair, looks to be a lookout outside of a business.

Fans wondered if Eminem shaved off his beard for the role and now 50 Cent revealed how they worked it out. “When Eminem found out I was directing, he committed to do it, and working together was natural,” 50 Cent told ew. “It was an honor to have him on the show and it made this episode extra special. The technology that they used to de-age him was the same thing they used in The Irishman. Em actually has a beard, so they first took the hair out of his face using the technology and then they de-aged him all the way down.”

Eminem portrayed Richard Wershe Jr., who was an FBI informant in his early teens when he sold drugs and guns as part of a Detroit gang. Later he was dumped by the feds at 17 and arrested for cocaine possession. He was sentenced to life in prison, but eventually paroled and released in June 2020, at the age of 50. Recently, the real-life “White Boy Rick” also reacted to the Eminem appearance on the show and said, “Eminem is awesome! And it was an honor! Detroit.”
