Snoop Dogg Reveals He Apologized To Eminem I Make Mistakes, I Ain't Perfect

Snoop Dogg addresses squashing beef with Eminem.

Earlier today, Snoop Dogg made a visit to The Breakfast Club for a new interview with Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee. On the show, Snoop Dogg was asked about squashing his differences with Eminem, a feud that started after the long beach legend disrespected the Detroit Rapper during a virtual interview with The Breakfast Club last year.

Eminem responded to the interview with a few shots at Snoop Dogg on “Zeus“, off his “Music To Be Murdered By” Side B. Eminem later rapped about squashing his beef with Snoop Dogg on the “Killer” Remix with Jack Halorw and Cordae. Then recently, it was announced that the duo will join Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige for a historic Superbowl Halftime show in February next year.

Now today, Snoop Dogg revealed that he apologized to Eminem for his statement against him. “Man I love Eminem,” he said. “And the thing is, we love hip hop so much, we competitive. We battle rappers, so that was suppose to trigger that in him. But we brothers, and we family so we learn to appreciate each other for what we do and how we get down and we had a long conversation about the respect that we have for each other, and the way we need to talk in public about each other. And I felt like I was out of pocket. I apologized to him, and I let him know and I’m just bettering myself. I make mistakes. I ain’t perfect, I’m Snoop Dogg.

Snoop Dogg also talked about getting the call for the Super Bowl show. “Dr. Dre is one my closest associates so When I know he got the call, I was figuring that I was going to get a call soon,” he reveals. “But to add Eminem, Kendrick and Mary J. Blige is special. Because It’s like this is his super friends and this is super bowl moment to actually show people why he is, who he is. It’s hard to explain, his method to madness. But when you look at everybody he touched, look at our careers, look at how successful we are. Without him, a lot of people can’t make it without the person that put him in. We’ve done just fine without him and we still maintain that relationship with him so the super bowl performance should be something special.

In the interview, Snoop Dogg also talked about his new Def Jame role, losing his mother Beverly Tate, upcoming album “Algorithm” and more.
