Snoop Dogg Reveals Cover Art & Release Date For His 19th Studio Album Algorithm

Snoop Dogg shares Cover Art and Release Date for the upcoming album “Algorithm”.

Following the announcement last month, Snoop Dogg has shared some more major details about his upcoming nineteenth studio album “Algorithm“. The Def Jam executive creative and strategic Consultant Snoop unveiled the official cover art for the follow-up project to his April’s album “From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites“, and revealed that it will be out on November 12th. As announced previously, the album will feature a lot of big names, including Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes, Benny The Butcher and more.

There are chances that we might get the Eminem feature on the album, which Snoop Dogg teased recently. “The song with me and Eminem, Cause I feel like that’s like the big reveal, When ni**as hear Eminem on that motherf**ker, that’s just on whole another level,” he said in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid. Snoop’s friendship with Detroit Rapper hit a snag when he neglected to put Em on a list of his top 10 rappers. He remarked at the time that, while the Detroit native is a terrific lyricist, he owes a lot of his success to the early encouragement he received from Dr. Dre. Later, the two reconciled, and Eminem claimed on the remix of his song “Killer,” “I just called Snoop and spoke with him, we’re all OK/Dre, myself, and the Dogg are fine, Doc, we’ve got you.

Snoop earlier told Speedy Morman about The Algorithm, saying, “Algorithm is a project I put together specifically on Def Jam Records to get some new artists, some established artists, and some friends of mine to make a damn good record to end this year off.” “You got Usher, Mary J. Blige, Fabolous, Dave East, Benny the Butcher, Jadakiss,” he continued. “Imagine all of the favors people owe me, right, and I never used ’em. And then I just said I’m finna make a record… Let me start going down the list, and man… Everybody got busy.”

In his recent appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, the legendary West Coast artist talked about his new role on Def Jam. “I was a fan of Def Jam Records as a kid, and knowing the talent that they have over there and the opportunity that was waiting on me, I wanted to go over there and give a lot of opportunity to the artists over there to get some information, some wisdom and some guidance from me and then also develop some new acts and give some opportunity,” he said. “So Def Jam was the perfect place for me, considering how much I love it and how much it means to hip-hop and how it really needed somebody like me to change the energy of the building. I’m over there for one reason: to get the music back poppin’ and to make the people feel the way they’re supposed to.

Snoop, Benny, Jadakiss, and Busta Rhymes collaborated on the previously released song “Murder Music,” which Snoop described as a “East Coast hip-hop street record .” Last week, Snoop released the video for Jane Handcock’s project cut “Like My Weed.”

Snoop Dogg is also set to join Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and Mary J. Blige for a performance at the NFL Super Bowl Halftime show in February.
