Eminem Told Jay-Z That He Wouldn't Perform At Super Bowl Without 50 Cent

Eminem wouldn’t have performed at Super Bowl without 50 Cent.

Snoop Dogg is the latest guest at DJ EFN and N.O.R.E.’s popular podcast show “Drink Champs” for a long insightful interview. During the show, the hosts brought up this year’s iconic Super Bowl Halftime show, which featured Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and 50 Cent.

Eminem allegedly warned JAY-Z that he would not perform at the famous event without his longtime buddy, thus 50 Cent made a surprise cameo at the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show. Snoop, who recently bought Death Row Records, discussed the massive Super Bowl LVI halftime concert, which featured Dr. Dre, Snoop, Eminem, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar.

The Queens, New York rapper questioned the Doggfather about why Dr. Dre’s former Aftermath Records star The Game was not allowed to play, and Snoop simply stated that it was Dr. Dre’s event and he only had 12 minutes to fill.

Noreaga reveals that he had a conversation with Jay-Z, who told him that Eminem refused to perform at SUper Bowl without 50 Cent. “So I hit the homie, the big homie Jay-Z. And I told him to pull up on me, and he pulled up on me. I asked him, ‘Who is the people that will perform at NFL?’ and he said to me ‘I’m sorry for anybody who don’t understand. The white guy called for 50 Cent.’ So I said, who is the white guy? Jimmy Iovine? And he said ‘no, Eminem called directly for Fifty and he said I can’t do it if I can’t bring 50 up. That’s spiritful.”

“Of course, that’s his guy… And guess who’s Dre’s guy? It’s me,” responds Snoop.
