New Music: Kanye West & XXTentacion - True Love

Kanye West and XXTentacion connect on “True Love”.

After an announcement earlier this week, Kanye West and XXTentacion’s new highly anticipated collaboration “True Love” is here. It is revealed that the song will appear on X’s upcoming posthumous album “Look At Me”, as well as Kanye’s “Donda 2”.

Ye dropped his new album “Donda 2“ earlier this year, but it was released on his own gadget stem player instead of streaming services. The album never got a proper release and it wasn’t even eligible for the Billboard Charts.

The track comes after the release of the new documentary “LOOK AT ME: XXTENTACION” on HULU, and it also plays at the end of the film.

Cleopatra Bernard, XXTentacion’s mother, revealed to TMZ last week what she thinks viewers would take away from Fader Films’ Hulu Original documentary. “I don’t think it’s gonna change the image and that wasn’t our intent,” she said. “Our intent was to humanize him. I do think it will do that. … We’ve all done crazy sh*t in our lives at one point or another, just not in front of a camera so I think people will be able to relate.”

The single’s cover art was created by West and incorporates handwritten messages from XXTentacion found in a diary by the late rapper’s mother. “Am I supposed to pretend to be heartless?”, “Love love love”, and “A feeling you just can’t explain.”
