Jim Jones & Maino Releases New Joint Album The Lobby Boyz

Jim Jones and Maino unleashes joint project “The Lobby Boyz”.

After teasing it for some time now, Jim Jones and Maino connect for a brand new joint album called “The Lobby Boyz”. This is Jones’ second collaborative effort of this year, the first being “We Set The Trends” with DJ Drama earlier this year.

The new project contains a pack of 14 tracks, with guest appearances from Benny the Butcher on “Praying”, Fivio Foreign on “Slide”, Yung Bleu on “Babysitter”, Fabolous on “No Bobby V”, Styles P on “Die Young”, Young MA on “One Day”, Capella Grey on “King of the City” and more.

One of the album’s first singles is also out today. Capo used his personal Instagram to promote the song “Slide,” which features Fivio Foreign, as well as provide behind-the-scenes footage from the music video filming.

The two also connect on the “Slide” music video with Fivio Foreign. The song samples Ruff Ryders’ 1999 hit “Down Bottom”, and the visual is directed by WillC and Tana.

Lobby Boyz was founded in 2021 by Jim Jones and Maino. Both rappers have been pals for years, but they have now decided to join forces and collaborate on their next project. “Slide” is the duo’s latest song off their Lobby Boyz album. Jim Jones and Maino released “Lobby Boyz Anthem” earlier this year and recently collaborated with Fabolous on “No Bobby V,” a song inspired by Bobby V’s 2005 single “Tell Me.”
