Cordae drops a new song “Taxes”.
After recently collaborating with Common for the song “What’s Life” from ESPN’s The Undefeated’s upcoming “Liberated/Music From The Movement Vol. 3”, Cordae continues releasing new material as he provides new material for the upcoming Netflix series. Cordae dropped the new track called “Taxes” which is produced by Take A Daytrip. This will appear on the Soundtrack to The Obama’s new Netflix show “We The People”.
Apart from Cordae, the soundtrack features Janelle Monáe, Daveed Diggs, Bebe Rexha, Brandi Carlile, and others.
The song follows the release of his EP Just Until earlier this year, which included Young Thug and Q-Tip among its guests, as well as visuals for “Wassup,” “Dream In Color,” and “More Life,” all from the same project. Prior to it, he released his song “Parables” and collaborated with Roddy Ricch on “Gifted.”
Last night, Cordae also assisted Nas on a remastered version of an unreleased 90s song called “Life is Like a Dice Game” which also featured Freddie Gibbs. Listen to the new song below.
