Tory Lanez Reveals Drake & The Weeknd Ignoring His Collaboration Requests

Tory Lanez is prepping the release of his new album “Sorry 4 What”, and the Canadian artist held a Q&A session on his Twitter account. In one of the questions, he was asked about collaborations with The Weeknd and Drake, to which he revealed they’ve been ignoring his song requests.

“Any track with Drake or The Weeknd?” asked a fan. “Been sending them songs for years … but nah not a single one,” responds Lanez.

However, apart from a song, Drake and Tory Lanez did link up for “Assassination Vacation Tour” in Europe in 2019, and also played basketball together about a year ago.

Lanez was also asked about collaboration with WizKid, to which he said, “Been tryna work with cuz for years but the time will come when it’s warranted.”

“A boogie is the only feature on the project coming as it stands right now …. I didn’t reach out to anybody else,” he revealed in another tweet, and also named Taylor Swift as his dream collab.

Tory Lanez is currently on trial for supposedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot in 2020. Lanez’s attorneys requested in July that the trial begins on September 14, claiming “possible conflicts” owing to a separate case involving Meg.

It’s uncertain if the motion will be granted, with the court saying that it would be “premature” to postpone the trial.
