Eminem Continues Youtube Domination As He Was The Most Viewed Rapper In August 2022

Eminem continues his dominating run on Youtube.

It seems like no one can top Eminem on Youtube at the moment. The rapper was the most viewed rapper in the past few months, and he continues his dominating run with his numbers in August as well. The Detroit rapper earned 349 million views on the platform last month, which is over 100 million more than the second on the list NBA Youngboy, which gained 238 million in August.

In August, Marshall Mathers released his new greatest hits compilation album “Curtain Call 2”, featuring some of his top hits since 2009. The double disc album featured 16 tracks, including his most recent release “The King And I” with CeeLo Green, and “From The D 2 The LBC” with Snoop Dogg. The “From the D 2 the LBC” music video, which notably highlights the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs of Eminem and Snoop Dogg, has also been nominated for the Best Hip Hop VMA. The video alternates between footage of Eminem and Snoop Dogg working in the studios and the vibrant exploits of their NFT avatar in different animated scenes. Since collaborating on “Bi**h Please II” on the Marshall Mathers LP in 2000, Eminem and Snoop Dogg have only worked together on “from the D to the LBC.” The album also features an unreleased 2009 track called “Is This Love” which is a collaboration with 50 Cent and Dr. Dre.

This past week, a Kanye West and Eminem collaboration “Use This Gospel” Remix was released, with production from Dr. Dre & The ICU. The track was recorded a couple of years ago and is now released through DJ Khaled’s new star-studded 13th studio album “God Did“.

The rapper also teamed up with Snoop Dogg for an NFT-inspired performance of their latest collab at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards.
