2022 Super Bowl Ball Signed By Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar Is Up For Auction

Signed Super Bowl LVI Ball is going for auction.

Earlier this year, a historic Super Bowl LVI Halftime show took place which featured rap icons Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg and the surprise guest 50 Cent. Now Heritage Auctions announced that a signed Super Bowl LVI leather Wilson football is up for auction, with a current bid of $2,600. The signed ball will be a part of a sale running from Mary 12 to May 14.

The ball features signatures from Eminem, Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and Anderson .Paak. “In what many referred to as ‘the best Super Bowl halftime show’ of all time, the 2022 Super Bowl LVI show celebrated hip-hop, its pioneers and current stars, and of course the music of Los Angeles,” reads a description of the football. “This leather Wilson ball is signed by Dre, Em, Mary J, Anderson .Paak and Kendrick in bold black ink. The autographs were acquired by our consignor at the Big Game and is one of the finest collectibles we’ve seen from the legendary show.”

JAY-Z produced the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show, which began on February 13 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. While the event featured several of the artist’s biggest songs, Snoop Dogg stated in a recent interview with Drink Champs that he would have rather to have played something from his own repertoire rather than simply Dre’s. “Let me tell you what you didn’t see that you ain’t saying anything about,” Snoop Dogg told hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN. “You didn’t hear ‘Nuthin But A ‘G Thang’ you didn’t hear sh*t from Death Row. What about that era? That didn’t mean nothing? So you got to look at Dr. Dre’s mind state. Whatever he was on, he was on. That was his show. They asked him to perform so whoever he wanted to bring to the party, he had the right to.”
