Snoop Dogg Announces His 19th Studio Album Algorithm

Snoop Dogg reveals his new album “Algorithm” is releasing in November.

Snoop Dogg is currently in the news for his role in the new 50 Cent show “Black Mafia Family” where he is playing a Pastor, which was originally intended for Fifty himself. Snoop Dogg made an appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon for a virtual interview, as part of the promo run for the new show. In the interview, he was also asked about a new album, to which he revealed that his new project is releasing in November.

Snoop Dogg announced that his new album is titled “Algorithm“, which will be his 19th project. He said that the album will feature a log of big names. The project is a follow-up to “From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites” which dropped in April. Along with the “Algorithm”, Snoop also said that he is also working on a project for the kids. Snoop, who recently joined Def Jam as executive creative and strategic consultant, talked about his role at the label.

I was a fan of Def Jam Records as a kid, and knowing the talent that they have over there and the opportunity that was waiting on me, I wanted to go over there and give a lot of opportunity to the artists over there to get some information, some wisdom and some guidance from me and then also develop some new acts and give some opportunity,” he said. “So Def Jam was the perfect place for me, considering how much I love it and how much it means to hip-hop and how it really needed somebody like me to change the energy of the building. I’m over there for one reason: to get the music back poppin’ and to make the people feel the way they’re supposed to.

Snoop appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote his position as a preacher on Starz’s BMF, as well as his voice part as Cousin in the sequel to “The Addams Family.”

Snoop Dogg (born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr.) is an American rapper, songwriter, media personality, actor, and businessman. He rose to prominence after appearing on Dr. Dre’s debut solo song, “Deep Cover,” and subsequently on Dre’s debut solo album, “The Chronic,” in 1992. Broadus has sold over 23 million records in the United States and 35 million albums globally since his debut.

The legendary West Coast artist also assisted 50 Cent on the “BMF” Theme show “Wish Me Luck” which also featured Moneybagg Yo.
