Quavo & Takeoff Announces New Joint Album Only Built For Infinity Links, Reveals Artwork & Release Date

Quavo and Takeoff to drop a new joint album next month.

Quavo and Takeoff, the two of Migos’ rappers have been dropping new music in the past few weeks, and they’re now joining forces on a new joint project, without Offset. The duo recently released “Hotel Lobby”, followed by “Us vs. Them” with Gucci Mane, and “Big Stunna” with Birdman.

The duo who now goes by the name of Unc and Phew, have now announced their brand new album titled “Only Built For Infinity Links”. The project is scheduled to drop next month on October 7th.

“We’re bouncing off each other,” Takeoff said about music with Quavo in recent interview with Elliott Wilson and Brian “B.Dot” Miller for Rap Radar. “The chemistry, it’s been there since day one, so we easily bounce off [one another].”

“The chemistry the same, the recording the same. We always normally record by ourselves because we’re so crazy on just dropping new sh*t on each other,” said Quavo. “So when he goes off and record by himself, I can’t wait til he come back and just bring some sh*t in. Make sure he leave the open verse.”

He continued, “And then most times we’ll go in, so it ain’t ever no crazy feeling. I feel we make the best music, of course, in the studio because even if we say like a bad bar or a bar that don’t work, we’ll say it don’t work or change it up or do something else. But as far as sitting in the studio recording, I can’t wait to bring some new music to Takeoff and vise versa.”

The latest full-length album by Migos, Culture III, was released in the previous year. Following the release of each member’s individual recordings, the album was released. Offset’s Father of 4 debuted in 2019, with Quavo Huncho and Takeoff’s releases (Quavo Huncho and The Last Rocket, respectively) coming before them.

Offset just released the solo tracks “5 4 3 2 1,” which was composed by Baby Keem, and “Code,” which he collaborated on with Moneybagg Yo. Offset sued Quality Control, the longtime home of the Migos, last month regarding ownership of his solo recordings.
