Nicki Minaj shares first album cover for “Pink Friday 2”.
Nicki Minaj is prepping the release of her long-awaited new album “Pink Friday 2“, which is scheduled to drop on November 17. She continued the rollout as the Queen of Barbz now unveiled the first Album cover for Pink Friday 2.
The artwork was announced following the release of Minaj’s brand new single “Last Time I Saw You“, which dropped this past week. She recently also teased the 2024 world tour in support of her upcoming album. “Giving a big virtual hug to all these countries,” wrote Nicki. “Omg can’t wait to see you guys on TOUR next year. seems like it was decades ago~ and seeing some of you for the first time ever.”

“Me even having people anticipate an album … My first album came out in 2010. My first mixtape came out in 2007. So the fact that people even care is a blessing,” she said in a new interview with Zane Lowe. “I could have been put this album out … I feel like as a leader in anything, you have to be willing to take those kind of risks that you know that you’re not guaranteed to win at, but it’s going to shift the motherf–king culture because if you ain’t going to do it, who will?”
Nicki Minaj hasn’t released a full-length project in over five years, as she last dropped her fourth studio effort “Queen” in 2018. Minaj’s upcoming album is a sequel to her debut effort, which featured Eminem, Rihanna, Drake, Kanye West and more. Pink Friday debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 375,000 copies in its first week. The album was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 54th Grammy Awards in 2012.
Nicki Minaj will also make a guest appearance on Drake’s new album “For All The Dogs“, which is due to release on September 15th. “I’ll just say I really love the song. I know my fans are going to love the song,” said Nicki Minaj. “I know the world’s going to love the song. And that’s all I will say about that.” “Barbz, make sure y’all let Drizzy Drake know that Pink Friday 2 is coming out Nov. 17 as well. And we are waiting on his contribution.”
