Drake confirms the “For All The Dogs” album release date.
After teasing it for the past couple of months, Drake has revealed the confirmed release date for his new album “For All The Dogs”. Following the rumours earlier today, the Toronto rap star unveiled that the project will drop on September 22nd.
“I got an album coming out for y’all.. I love it with all my heart. I’m very excited about it, I’m very proud of it. I’m just trying to get it perfect for y’all. My album is coming very soon,” he said previously.
“I know everybody’s upset that I didn’t drop an album last night. I didn’t say it was dropping last night. So don’t be mad at me,” he said about previous rumoured release date. “I just said it was coming soon.”
He continued, “It’s not going to be that much longer, trust me. I’m finishing it up. You know I got shows everybody. But I promise you, For All the Dogs is on the way.” “I promise you, this album will be for you. I promise you it will be worth the wait,” he added.
“I’m tired of everybody coming up to me, [saying] ‘man… we miss that old Drake man. We need that old Drake man,’” Drake said previously. “Imma give it to you then.”

He already shared the official cover art for the project, which is a picture of a dog that was drawn by his five-year-old son Adonis.

The upcoming new album will follow up on Drake’s last year’s 21 Savage collab effort “Her Loss” and solo project “Honestly, Nevermind“.
It was previously confirmed that the album will feature an appearance from the rapper’s longtime collaborator Nicki Minaj. “I’ll just say I really love the song. I know my fans are going to love the song,” said Nicki Minaj. “I know the world’s going to love the song. And that’s all I will say about that.” “Barbz, make sure y’all let Drizzy Drake know that Pink Friday 2 is coming out Nov. 17 as well. And we are waiting on his contribution.”
