Lupe Fiasco reacts to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars 2022.
Last night, Will Smith made headlines for two reasons at the 94th annual Academy Awards, one winning his first-ever Oscar, and second slapping comedian Chris Rock for joking about his wife. Chris Rock jokes that Jada Pinkett Smith will feature in the next GI Jane movie, in reference to her bald hair, which she got after suffering from alopecia.

“Jada, I love you,” Rock said. “G.I. Jane 2. Can’t wait to see it! Smith chuckled at first, but his wife’s expression told it all: she was plainly outraged. Smith sprang from his seat onto the stage and walked toward Rock like the Terminator, striking him across the face. “Keep my wife’s name out of your f**king lips!” Smith yelled at Rock before the sound went out.
Celebrities and fans have been reacting to the viral moment, and Lupe Fiasco was one of them. Fiasco wishes that the two squash their differences, but he again dragged Kid Cudi. “I hope they can find some time to come to terms with what happened, reconcile and move on…But it’s still F**k Cudi 4 Life,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

The two rappers had been beefing since 2014 when Kid Cudi called out Fiasco for exploiting fans by charging them $500 for guest verses. Ever since then, they have often taken shots at each other on several occasions.
