Logic Says Meeting Eminem Was The Most Surreal Moment He's Ever Had

Logic reveals why meeting Eminem was a surreal moment.

Logic, who retired from music a couple of years ago, but made his return with last year’s projects “Bobby Tarantino III” and “YS Collections Vol. 1”, is now prepping the release of another new album “Vinyl Days“. Last week, he dropped the title track with DJ Premier, from the project which is dropping on June 17th.

Ahead of the release, Bobby Tarantino rapper did a Q&A session on Twitter to interact with the fans. One of the followers asked about his most surreal moment, to which he named meeting Eminem. “Probably meeting Eminem… Like, dude, I used to record his songs from the radio onto a cassette and listen over and over because I was too poor to afford buying music. ‘Forgot About Dre’ was literally on side A and B of a tape I made Nardwuar, there is a fact lol,” he wrote.

The rapper met the Detroit MC in 2019 when he was a guest performer at his Hawaii concert. “It was incredible really sitting and just hanging with a man I’ve studied my whole life. And I learned him and his homies are just like me and mine. All we talk about is rap haha it’s the best! Thanks Em! For all the Love,” he wrote at the time.

The two went on to collaborate on the song called “Homicide“, which was one of the fan-favourite off Logic’s album “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind”.

With “Therapy Music,” a collaboration with Russ, he has maintained his momentum. Bobby Tarantino III, his project for 2021 and the third instalment of his fan-favorite series, was released before those recent releases. Cynthia Erivo had only one appearance in the film.
