Lil Nas X Collaborating with NBA Youngboy On New Song Which Is A BET Award Diss

Lil Nas X posted a video on Twitter with the caption YB better about the Frank Ocean incident.

Lil Nas X has stepped up his criticism of Black Entertainment Television (BET) in a new song, following his rejection to be nominated for any one of the network’s BET Awards this year.

In a video posted to Twitter, Nas X lip-syncs to an unreleased track that begins with him saying “F**k BET” multiple times. He goes on to say how successful he has been without their help. “I put like three up in the Top Ten/And I don’t need nobody”, he sings – referencing the success of his 2021 singles ‘MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)‘, ‘INDUSTRY BABY‘ and ‘THATS WHAT I WANT’.

After that, Lil Nas uploaded a second clip from the song, which included a guest verse from YoungBoy Never Broke Again. X confirmed the song’s title, ‘Late to Da Party,’ and promised that song will be released “soon.”

Well, it was interesting to take a note on the caption that Lil Nas X put revealing the guest verse is YB better that has an interesting story behind it.

Never one to pass up an opportunity to troll his fans, Lil Nas X joked about the encounter at Met Gala on Twitter, stating that his evening was continuing good until Frank Ocean handed him a “L.”

In a series of since-deleted tweets, the singer expressed his annoyance with his complete absence of BET Nominations on Twitter last week. He sarcastically tweeted at the time, “An outstanding zero nominations again.”

Later, he tweeted, “Black gay people have to fight to be seen in this world.” “Even when we make it to the top, mfs [sic] try to pretend we are invisible.”
