Kodak Black would do a Verzuz against Jay-Z, with a huge stake.
A couple of weeks back, Jay-Z made a statement that no one has the capability to do a Verzuz against him. “No one can stand on that stage with me. It’s not a chance in hell that anyone can stand on that stage with me,” he said. “You gotta stand in front of the Grammy Family Freestyle live?”
While, some agreed with Hov’s comments, other mentioned artists like Kanye West, Eminem, Lil Wayne and more. Lil Jon said that Busta Rhymes would “smoke” Jay-Z in a Verzuz showdown, and Benny the Butcher sides with Hov and said no rapper can defeat him. Future also seemingly agreed to a statement that he can win a Verzuz against the legendary rapper.
Now Kodak Black also chimes in the conversation, and wants to go himself for A Verzuz against Jay-Z, but with a bet. The Florida rapper took to his Twitter and said that if Hov wins against him, he can take 15% of his catalog, and if he loses, Kodak Black gets to be Roc Nation’s Vice President. “I’ll do a versus wit Jay Z [Devil emoji] “IF” he win he get 15 % of my catalog [If] I win he make me Vice President of roc nation,” he tweeted.
Black may be too preoccupied in the coming days to focus on a Verzuz, given that he began the new year by being arrested for trespassing in his South Florida birthplace of Pompano Beach in the early morning hours of Jan. 1. That comes only nine months after pleading guilty to assaulting a young girl in April; he was originally charged with rape but accepted a plea agreement on a lesser charge for breaching probation, according to The Associated Press.
