Lil Jon Says Busta Rhymes Would Smoke Jay-Z in a Verzuz Battle

Busta Rhymes can take down Jay-Z in a VERZUZ, claims Lil Jon.

Alicia Keys hosted a Twitter space chat session for her new double album “KEYS”, where Jay-Z also hopped on and chimes in the discussion of a potential VERZUZ battle. Before giving props to Jadakiss, who was the MVP at VERZUZ against Dipset, Hov claimed that no one stands a chance against him.

“That’s one of the best performances of the year,” he said about Jadakiss. “No one can stand on that stage with me. It’s not a chance in hell that anyone can stand on that stage with me,” he said. “You gotta stand in front of the Grammy Family Freestyle live?”

Hip-Hop fans brought names likes Lil Wayne, Kanye West, who could be a great opponent for Hov. Lil Jon also reacted to the post and said that Busta Rhymes would “Smoke” Jay-Z in a VERZUZ showdown. Busta Rhymes is indeed a strong opponent for anyone on the VERZUZ stage, and he recently revealed that several rappers declined to go against him, and is still looking for a worthy opponent.

The entire argument began yesterday night when Alicia Keys was on Twitter Spaces about her new album, Keys. During the talk, Jigga interjected and addressed the continuing arguments about him performing a Verzuz duel with one of his classmates. “Ain’t nobody that can stand on that stage with me,” Hov boasted. “I ain’t gonna lie, no disrespect. Everyone’s amazing, they’ve done what they’ve done. No one can stand on that stage with me. I’m just telling you guys the real. There’s not a shot.”

Previously, Fat Joe also claimed that other artists are scared to battle Busta Rhymes. “Busta Rhymes has a problem with a Verzuz. Fat Joe scared to do Verzuz against Busta Rhymes and so is everybody else,” he said. “You gotta understand, sometimes you ever notice, you see boxers and they knock everybody out? People be scared to fight those boxers. Busta Rhymes is gonna out-rap, out-perform anybody who goes up in the Verzuz with him. That’s a fact.”
