Kid Cudi Reveals Playboi Carti Won't Clear Collab Song For His New Album

Kid Cudi denies the possibility of releasing Playboi Carti collab.

Kid Cudi is currently working on his next album, and the rapper teased the project through responses to some of the fans’ tweets. In a series of tweets, the rapper teased the project and confirmed that Travis Scott and Young Thug will make guest appearances on the album.

The fans wanted to know about his collab “Solo Dolo IV” with Playboi Carti, which was originally teased last year. Cudi revealed that he won’t be able to release the song as Carti won’t clear it. “He wont clear it which is very weak. So yea it wont be on there. Which is ok becuz the sh*t I have on this album f**kin smacks and ur faces will melt,” he wrote.

Back in December, Cudi was asked about his collab album “The SCOTTS” with Travis Scott, to which the rapper stated it’s not happening anymore. “Naw im not doin that. The moment has passed,” he wrote. The two formed the group back in 2021, and also released a song called “The Scotts“.

The upcoming project will follow up Cudi’s last year soundtrack album “Entergalactic” which was released with an adult animated special of the same, starring the rapper himself. Cudi’s eighth studio album Entergalatic debuted at number 13 on the US Billboard 200 chart, earning 22,480 album-equivalent units in its first week.
