Kendrick Lamar to drop new album “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers” next month.

It’s finally happening. Kendrick Lamar has made an official announcement of his long-awaited new album. K. Dot took to his social media to announce the fifth studio effort which is titled “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers“, a follow up to his 2017’s “DAMN.

For four years the internet was flooded with the same questions when is the new kendrick lamar album coming out, will kendrick lamar release a new album, does kendrick lamar have a new album coming out? Now we have a definitive answer that Kendrick New Album is coming this May. Yes, you might not believe it bu New Kendirck Lamar album after DAMN will be released on 13th May 2022.

The Compton rapper made the announcement the same way through oklama.com, which he did last year. The project will be his final through Top Dawg Entertainment and will release on the 13th of May. “I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural impact after 17 years,” he wrote previously, “I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years. The Struggles. The Success. And most importantly, the Brotherhood.”

The project will release a month before his return to the big stage of Rolling Loud Miami. The three-day event will take place from 22-24 July, and will also feature Kanye West and Future as the other two headliners.

Lamar’s most recent full-length album was the Grammy-winning “DAMN,” which was released only two days before his headlining Coachella concert and also earned him a Pulitzer Prize.

There have even been a few false alarms, like as a social media frenzy sparked by his record company TDE last summer, which turned out to be a tease for the Isaiah Rashad album. As some fans pointed out on social media, Lamar revealed his long-awaited new album via a minimalist fax sheet, identical to the one Michael Jordan used to announce his retirement and comeback to the NBA in March 1995.

Check out his announcement below.
