Kanye West Reportedly Fires DONDA Engineer In Leaked Conversation

Kanye West fires the “DONDA” Engineer for not replying quickly to a text.

Ever since the rollout of “DONDA” for the past few weeks, we’ve been getting screenshots of Kanye West text conversations, some by himself and some by his collaborators including Soulja Boy. Now Akademiks shared a leaked conversation between Kanye West and one of his Engineers, where Ye fired him for not responding quickly to his text.

Good morning. Let’s work,” Kanye wrote at 9:34 AM. Then Kanye did not receive any response for nearly two hours, which prompted him to fire the manager. “You’re fired. Go Home,” he wrote at 11:23 AM.

The engineer then responds to the text with an apology and explanation. “I’m really sorry. I have no excuse I set an alarm for 7:30 am. And for whever reason my phone wasn’t alerting me I woke up at 11:08 to missed calls and got dressed as fast as I could Lou was already in his way to get boogz and they just got here,” he wrote.

Engineer send another text in which he says, “I didn’t call back right away cause I was in a panic trying to find a ride. I know this is unacceptable… I’m sorry.

Stop texting Go find God,” Kanye West responds. The hilarious reply also made T.I. react in the comments. “The ‘Go find God’ is a keeper tho [laughing emojis],” T.I. wrote.

In recent months, we’ve learned more about Kanye West’s texting habits. It all started more than a week ago when Kanye posted a screenshot of a message he wrote in a group text conversation that looked to involve both Drake and Virgil Abloh. Kanye West, who writes a new paragraph for every line, appeared to be irritated by the prospect of Drake receiving a personalized watch with green diamonds from Virgil Abloh.

Kanye West has revealed 16 tracks from his new album and Donda sequel Donda 2, which is now exclusively available through West’s Donda Stem Player. Future is said to have executive produced the follow-up to his 2021 LP, which has contributions from Migos, Jack Harlow, Soulja Boy, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Baby Keem, the late XXTentacion, and others. The collection of tracks is known as the “V2.22.22 Miami” release.

Mike Dean described his experience working with Kanye West on his new album ‘DONDA’ as “gruelling.” In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, West detailed how he would change the album depending on in-person and online feedback after each listening session. “It was interesting. It was gruelling, lots of hours, lots of changes. It came out great though,” he said.

“Kanye had three listening parties. So each listening party was like a test, kind of. And after each one, I think he wanted… I can’t talk too much about his process. “He took all the information he got from everyone, including online reviews, personal friends’ reviews, and he’d just kind of digest it all and adjust the album the way he wants.”
