Big Daddy Kane interviews J. Cole for his upcoming Documentary.

The legendary Big Daddy Kane had been interviewing some of the greats of the game for his upcoming Netflix Documentary called “Paragraphs I Manifest,” and now he adds another one, J. Cole. Big Daddy Kane took to his IG to share a clip with Cole and revealed that he will feature on his upcoming Documentary. In the caption, Daddy Kane called J. Cole his favorite MC of the era. He also shared another picture of his son meeting J. Cole. “Amazing interview today with @realcoleworld. My favorite MC of this era. My son loves this Brother as well. We almost done! One more to go!,” he wrote in the caption.

Daddy Kane told HipHopDX that the last person to interview is MC Lyte. “I still gotta interview MC Lyte and turn it in for editing. I swear, though, this J. Cole interview was the glue,” he said.

Kane stated in the caption of the Instagram image that he has added Cole to the expanding list of guests for Paragraphs I Manifest. In addition to the aforementioned personalities, Kane has interviewed JAY-Z, Common, Eminem, Doug E. Fresh, and KRS-One for the upcoming documentary, the release date of which has yet to be announced.

In the clip with Cole, Kane says, “A lot of people out there right now are coming to people such as myself and many others, giving us our flowers and whatnot while we’re still here. But listen, I wanna give this young brother right here his flowers like on the real.” Cole reacts to the appreciation with a “Damn“.

Big Daddy continues, “I want this brother right here to know that he is my favorite MC out here right now. This is the brother right here that makes me feel like Hip Hop is still alive and it’s here to stay when I listen to this here brother spit and listen to his music. Love you, fam.

Love, bro. Thank you, man. I appreciate that bro. Legendary. Thank you. Shit,” says the Dreamville boss.

Big Daddy Kane previously chop it up with the likes of Eminem & Jay-Z for the upcoming Netflix Documentary. “I got JAY-Z, Eminem, KRS-One, Doug E. Fresh,” he said. “I even got some of the battle rappers like Goodz Da Animal and Aye Verb, so it’s coming out real good. I’m supposed to do Common on Monday.
