Kanye West says celebrities deserve a percentage from Paparazzi earnings.
Kanye West often gets involved in heated conversations with Paparazzi, and one such incident happened once again at the Miami Airport. The rapper was spotted arriving at the Airport, and while he was taking out his luggage, a photographer started recording him and asking questions. Kanye West told the photographer that he’s not in a mood for all that and then went on to say that paparazzi should give him a cut from the earnings they make from his pictures.
“Right now y’all get to shoot us without having to pay. I’mma change that,” he said while taking out his bag from the cab. “I’m not saying it in a negative way. It’s just like, right now, it’s just really one-sided. You guys can follow us, you guys can stand [outside] a hotel at any given time… you don’t give us any percentage of what you’re making off of us, off of our kids, and I’m gonna change that.”

“We all gotta make money together, It can’t be a one-sided thing,” he explains “Look, if I’m just with my kids, I say I don’t want you to shoot me, then that’s just something y’all gotta respect. We can get that money together, but we gotta have a conversation.”
He continues, “I respect your job. My dad was a photographer at a newspaper, I love paparazzi. But as Americans, we gotta respect each other. We gotta bring the pride back to this country.”
Kanye West was on a two day trip to Miami for a recording session with producer DJ Khaled.
Julia Fox came later, and West joked with the photographers about their car being hauled away. West and Fox have been dating since meeting on New Year’s Eve in Miami. The star of Uncut Gems recently slammed critics who said she was only interested in West because of his clout: “People say, ‘Oh, you’re only here for the fame, for the influence, for the money,” she explained on her Forbidden Fruits podcast. “Honey, I’ve dated billionaires my entire adult life, let’s be real.”
