Jim Jones Wants A Solo Verzuz Battle Against Jadakiss I Want Total Smoke

Jim Jones shows the desire to go one on one against Jadakiss on the Verzuz stage.

Last year, the rap groups of The LOX and Dipset went against each other for a VERZUZ battle at Madison Square Garden, and the showdown turned out to be one of the best. Jadakiss produced a performance for ages and was crowned MVP for killing it on the stage. Dipset’s Jim Jones, who’s currently on the promo run for his new mixtape “We Set The Trends“, had a conversation with HipHopDX where he discussed last year’s battle.

After a few months, Jadakiss finally expresses his thoughts on Jim Jones’ challenge. Even though Capo is hell-bent on dishing out a good L to Kiss, the Yonkers rap icon told Shade45’s Superstar Jay that he isn’t interested in the fight. “I heard him say that but I didn’t entertain it. I don’t think Verzuz would entertain it. I don’t even think the people would want to see that,” Jada said in response to Jones’ challenge.

“People took it like a rap championship, and to hear you say that moment hurt your heart I’m like damn people really took this shit for real and to the heart like, man that sh*t is crazy,” Jones said.

He continues, “We got on stage with ni**as we respect and have known for 20 years. It was a dope event overall and it’s something I don’t think the city will ever get to witness unless we happen to do a rematch or something like that. Jada got the best of the situation, and I owe him one. Don’t worry, I got him.”

“I would want to have a Verzuz with Jada. Solo,” he said with a smile. “He has to deal with me on my terms. He better be prepared. When it comes to a top three, I don’t really have a list. I just got real smoke with Jada. I don’t like how he did that [laughs]. I want total smoke with him. Anybody else is welcome, and if the setting is New York, I feel like I can hang with whoever. I got some New York sh*t, the city. I got that.”

Recently, Jim Jones was asked about a Verzuz for Jay-Z, and he said that Drake would be the best opponent for Hov.

Jones recently shared his opinion on another possible Verzuz matchup: JAY-Z vs. Drake. “The person I would say that would put up the best fight [against JAY-Z] would be Drake, hands down,” he told Bally Sports’ Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson. “And no, Drake hasn’t been here for the duration that JAY has been, but Drake has put out platinum hits every time he’s put a record out and we all know every single one of Drake’s hits for the past 10 to some odd years that he’s been in this game, which is a long stretch for doing music, and he’s breaking a lot of records when it comes to entries.”

In another section of the conversation, Jadakiss talked about a potential fitness competition with Jim Jones. Although their exercises are different, with Jim concentrating more on weightlifting and him doing callisthenics, Jadakiss said he thinks it would be beneficial to promote a healthy lifestyle.
