Jadakiss shows love to Lil Wayne at his Miami Show.
Jadakiss had been getting praised from his fellow rap icons as well young guns since his VERZUZ with the DIPSET, but the LOX rapper is also returning the favor by showing love to other rappers. Jadakiss was recently performing at a show in Miami, the event which also had Lil Wayne in attendance.
Jada took some time to acknowledge Tunechi, and praise him for his incredible verse writing speed. “You know what he does for the culture, you know what he does for hip-hop,” he said, which brought a smile to Wayne’s face. “It’s only a few ni**as I can send a verse, and he send that sh*t back before I finish rolling my backwood up.”
The duo has worked together several times previously, including collaborations likes “It’s Good”, “Kill” and The Last Kiss’s “Death Wish”. The Young Money president Mack Maine was also at the show, and he shared a picture with both the rappers, saying that they both feature in his Top 5 DOA. “They both in my top 5 dead or alive!!!! #2LegendsAndABigMack,” he wrote.
It’s not the first time Jadakiss has complimented Wayne; last year, he collaborated with DJ Khaled for an Instagram Live conversation. Weezy was said to have recorded 12 features at one studio session, according to Jada. It’s never been easy to figure out how Wayne manages to release so much music at such a fast clip. During a recent chat with GQ, Jada and his groupmates in the LOX suggested they didn’t expect their Verzuz event with Dipset would have the impact it did. “We always work around the clock, but I definitely didn’t expect the Verzuz to have the magnitude it’s had; I can’t front,” explained Styles P.
Lil Wayne, who had been continuously giving us new material throughout this year, recently joined forces with Rich The Kid for a new joint project “Trust Fund Babies“.
